Brandon Regional Health Centre

The Brandon Regional Health Centre Clinical Services Redevelopment project is made up of:

  • Ambulatory Care Clinics for Hemodialysis;
  • Endoscopy;
  • Oncology;
  • Specialty Clinics
  • Medical Daycare;
  • Surgical Suites (Same Day Surgery and Post-Anesthetic Care Unit);
  • 11 infant NICU;
  • a 20 bed Obstetrics/LDRP Nursing Unit;
  • Pharmacy/CSR Support Services; and
  • a redeveloped and expanded Regional Trauma Centre.

A centralized atrium was created which connected three existing buildings (the bed tower; the School of Nursing and the Assiniboine Centre) with two new facilities “ an addition to Clinical Services as well as a new two-storey ambulatory care link.  As well as maintaining natural light to the existing bed tower patient rooms the connecting atrium allowed for the integration of high performance building envelope technology for both the new and existing buildings
