Cangene Corporation Expansion

This project included a master-planned, multi-phased 95,000 SF expansion to its existing pharmaceutical research and manufacturing facility which was developed to provide maximum flexibility in terms of the implementation of the various phases, as the sequence of expansion would in large part be dependent upon market conditions.

Phase 1: Once the master plan was approved the project team moved immediately into the first phase of the project, utilizing a fast-tracked, modified Design/Build delivery process.

Phase 2: Executive Offices: to distinguish themselves from their competitors and to reflect their status as a world leader in biotechnological products, Cangenes new executive offices became part of the message for communicating and reinforcing their brand identity.

A sub-phase to Phase 2 was added to fit up four research labs.

Phase 3: provided three major production clean suites with a total area of 6,000 SF supported by almost 40,000 SF of highly sophisticated service space.
