Seven Oaks General Hospital: Manitoba Renal Health Centre

The design for the new 120 bed Renal Health Centre is envisioned as a five storey, 120,428 s.f. free standing facility designed to meet the projected need for dialysis services throughout the province up to the year 2025. With existing renal dialysis services at or nearing capacity, the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority (WRHA) and Manitoba Renal Program (MRP) initiated a facility and site feasibility study in 2012 focused on the Seven Oaks General Hospital as a prime location for the new facility.

Beyond addressing the growing demand for dialysis services in the region, the strategic vision for the project focuses on the following:
• An Enhanced Patient Experience
• Improving the Quality of Care and the Integration of Services
• To Foster Public Engagement and Advance Research and Education
• To create and support a Positive Work Environment
• Build a Sustainable System
